The main area of green space for Zwickau residents to enjoy is the Stadtpark (City Park) in the middle of the city. The main attraction of the park is its large boating lake in the centre. Other amenities include an open-air theatre, pavilion, and an aviary – as well as plenty of open spaces for relaxation and walking. Boats can be hired for use on the lake. The park is free to enter and open year-round.
