Wetzlar’s Cathedral (Dom) is a wonderful church in the middle of the town. It was constructed from 897 and endured a length construction process, with progress stalling by the 15th century. Because of this lack of progress, the building represents the style of churches in Europe in the 15th century, and contains many original features which are unique. Inside, you will find the Madonna on the Moon Crescent, and a late-Renaissance Crucifixion.
