The Lutherdenkmal in Worms is a large monument to Martin Luther and the Reformation – the largest monument to this, in fact. It features a bronze figure of Luther, with various other figures around him. These are: Frederick the Wise of Saxony, Philip the Magnanimous of Hesse, Johannes Reuchlin, Philipp Melanchthon, Petrus Waldus, Johny Wycliffe, Jan Hus and Girolamo Savonarola, with some figures of women sat at their feet. The monument is located opposite the Lutherring. It was built in the 19th century.
