Nearby the Neumünster in Würzburg is the remains of a former 12th century cloister, known now as the Lusamgärtchen. The area is essentially an overgrown garden and square, with columns and remains scattered around. At the centre is a memorial to famous local poet Walther von der Vogelweide, who is reputedly buried on the site after the church sided with his political stance. He lived in the 13th century.
