The Kloster in Walsrode is a medieval convent. It converted to Protestant after the Reformation. The many art treasures held in the buildings were retained over the years. Today they form part of an art gallery. Visitors to the convent can go on a tour of the buildings, including the chapel with its impressive features, and see the works of art here. There is an entrance fee. Guided tours are only available in the summer.
