The Johanniskirche is church in Zittau which was built around 1500 on the site of an older church. The current building was destroyed in 1757 by fire and later reconstructed around 80 years later. The silver organ was the only surviving feature of the original, and is still in place. The current church combines Neo Classical and Neo Gothic features. The church is still in use as the main Evangelical centre of Zittau.
