The Musterhaus am Horn is located in Weimar on the exclusive street of the same name. Surprisingly it is the only example of Bauhaus architecture in Weimar, despite the movement being invented here. Georg Muche designed the house for the Bauhaus exhibition in 1923, with the intention that more similar buildings would be erected in the city. It has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List because of its rare status. It is open to the public a few days a week, with a small entrance charge.
