The Grünefelder Park in Waldenburg was laid out by Prince Otto Carl Friedrich von Schoenburg-Waldenburg late in the 18th century. It is a must when you’re in the town in good weather, as a perfect place to stroll and take in the country air. History surrounds you in this English styled garden – one of the oldest of its kind in Germany. In it you will also find the bath house, mausoleum and the great Waldenburg Castle and its museum.
