One of Wertheim’s two main museums is the Grafschafts Museum, on Rathausgasse in the old town. This museum is full of displays of items such as coins, jewellery, Frankish costumes, and various paintings. It also has a well-known display on wine making, which is popular in this region of Germany. The museum is open most days of the week, year-round, and charges a small entrance fee.
