The Franciscan Museum (Franziskaner Museum) in Villingen-Schwenningen is located in the buildings of the former Franciscan friary in the centre of Villingen. As well as covering the history of the friary, and bits on the Franciscans, this museum is generally a folklore and history museum focusing on the Black Forest region. It goes back to prehistoric times, and covers archaeological finds and crafts of the region. The museum is open most days, and there is an entrance fee.
