Weil der Stadt’s city museum is located in the centre of town. It shows various exhibits on the history of this ancient town. Displays include the city in the Middle Ages, through various battles, and the city fire of 1648. The upper floor displays the more recent history, through trade, emigration and domestic and religious life. The museum is open at varying times. Check with the tourist office or at the museum. There is a small entrance fee, and guided tours are available.
