The City Church of St. Peter and St. Paul is the main church in Weil der Stadt. It is a three naved late Gothic hall church which was built in 1492. It was built on the site of an earlier Roman church which was built in the 6th century. This is a Catholic church and still holds regular services. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the interior with its stained glass windows and interesting altar and font. It is the icon of the town.
