Soest’s Wiesenkirche (Church of Our Lady of the Meadows) is regarded in German architectural history as the first church building to cross the boundary from a problematic structure to one of elegance. It is a Gothic church, with two spires rising above the city. The interior is majestic and worth a look, with many stained glass windows dating back to the 14th- and 16th centuries. There are three notably triptychs by local artists inside also.
