The Kunstmuseum Stuttgart is the city’s main art gallery. It houses the Municipal Art Collection. In the exhibitions are works by Adolf Hölzel, Joseph Kosuth, Dieter Krieg, and Dieter Roth. There is also a large collection of works by Otto Dix. The gallery is set in an excellent, symbolic building which resembles a large cube of glass. It was designed by architects Hascher & Jehle. There are also occasional temporary exhibits – see the website for details.
