The Stiftskirche St. Georg, which is the collegiate church of St. George, in Tübingen, was built between 1440 and 1529. It is a Gothic hall-style church which is triple-naved. There are side chapels, galleries and a single tower attached to the building. The magnificent stained glass windows in the choir date fro m1475, and the stalls are of note because of their carved figures of the Prophets, from the 15th century. Also inside are some ducal tombs and a late-Gothic reading room.
