The Stiftskirche of the Holy Cross in Stuttgart is a Gothic church dating from the 15th century. It was built by architects Hänslin and Aberlin Jörg from the remains of an older church – some of which can still be seen in the architecture today. Figures of saints adorn the outer façade of the church. Inside, the church is still decorate in many Gothic furnishings, and has the stone gallery of the dukes of Wurttemberg from 1584. The church was badly damaged in World War 2, but fully restored in recent years.
