The Church of St. Martini in Stadthagen is a Baroque building. It was built with a mausoleum for Ernst zu Holstein-Schaumburg in its eastern wall. This comprises a wonderful monument of bronze figures created by Adrian de Vries of Prague. The church has an interesting exhibition on the Reformation era, and the fate of the ruling family. The church also still holds regular services.
