The Saarland Museum in Saarbrücken is located on Bismarckstrasse, close to St. Johann. It is an art gallery primarily, split into two buildings. The Moderne Galerie covers art from the late 19th century to the present day. It has the likes of Liebermann, Corinth, Monet, Renoir and Sisley on display. It also houses the largest collection of Albert Weisgerber works. The Alte Sammlung opposite has exhibitions of fine and applied art which is generally older.
