The main attraction in Remscheid, close to Solingen, is the Röntgen Museum. This was set up in dedication to German Nobel Prize winner Afred Röntgen, who discovered the X-Ray. He was born and lived in Remscheid. This museum tells his story, and shows plenty of information on what he discovered. In addition to this, modern X-Ray equipment is on display, and there’s information on modern applications of it, such as with archaeology and technology. There is a small admission fee.
