Schloss Raesfeld, or Raesfeld Castle, is one of Münsterland’s water castles (Wasserburg). It is a smart complex, built originally in the 14th century. Most of the buildings we see today were constructed in the 17th century, however. The castle is open the public, with many of the restored rooms open to look around, with original furnishings. The castle’s Baroque chapel is worth seeing. Outside, the gardens are also open to look around.
