The Museum of Pre and Early History (Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte) in Saabrücken is a museum of archaeology, located on one side of the Schlossplatz square. It occupies former parliament buildings. Here you will find a large exhibition of local archaeological finds. These include a Celtic princess’s grave from 400 BC, which includes all the finds from the grave, such as drinking vessels and jewellery. The display is put together nicely, and is usually free to enter. It is open most days.
