The Deutsches Klingenmuseum in Solingen was set up to exhibit the history of cutting instruments associated with this town. Solingen has been known as the manufacturing location of scissors for many years. This museum explains and exhibits cutting instruments from the Stone Age right up to the present day. The museum is open most days and has a small entrance fee.
