The former imperial Roman bath complex in Trier is the Kaiserthermen. These remains still show how vast this 4th century complex was. Built during Constantine’s reign, they were once the third largest Roman baths in the world. Many of the walls still remain standing – particularly those of the hot water pool room. The full plan of the complex can be seen in parts of walls still standing. The complex is open to the public for exploring.
