Tübungen has an impressive Botanical Gardens just to the north of the old town area. It is run by the city’s university and acts as a research institute as well as a tourist attraction. The gardens have been around a long time and represent the importance of botany in Tübungen. There are various greenhouses and other buildings, and information areas. Many plant species are on show, demonstrating the diversity of the plant world. Guided tours are also available.
