The Lambertikirche, or Church of St. Lambert, in Oldenburg is a brick Gothic building dominating the market square of the town. Over the years it has been rebuilt and modified many times. In 1790 it was completely transformed into the current rotunda style basilica, based on the Pantheon in Rome. This mix of styles gives the building a strange, new look. Regular services are still held in this church. Visitors are welcome.
