Ski and History Museum
Karlsbader Straße 5, Oberwiesenthal 09484 - Germany

Map
Oberwiesenthal’s main museum is the Ski and History Museum on Karlsbader Strasse in the centre of the town. The museum was opened in 1983 to celebrate the history of skiing here, and also tell the history of the town from its mining heritage. There are plenty of skis and equipment on display, as well as information on Olympic athletes and champions from the town. Each year a new special exhibition is held on a different subject. The museum is open most days.
