The Town Hall (Rathaus) in Paderborn is situated off the southwest corner of the Market Square. It is one of the most attractive buildings in the city, dating from 1613 and built in a Renaissance style. It is a tall gabled building with arcades out front and magnificent windows. It has a large hall and cellar inside, and was built as a copy of the Heisingsches Haus just up the road. The Town Hall houses a small museum of natural history.
