Munich Airport is one of the busiest in Germany. As well as an entry and exit point for travel to the city, it is also great fun for visitors who want to go and watch the aircraft, or to wave off friends and relatives. At the airport terminal is the Visitors Centre, showing information on the airport and its future plans. There is also a cinema which shows aviation-related films all day long. Away from the terminal building, the airport has constructed a hill for viewing aircraft at close quarters, and a number of old aircraft have been preserved to look around.
