Martinikirchhof is a square in the centre of the Altstadt (Old Town) of Minden, where all of the important original buildings can be seen. On this square you will find the Körnermagazin, which was formerly a weapons store, and the Martinihaus bakery – both part of the old Prussian garrison here. You will also see the Schwedenschänke, which was used by Swedish troops in the Thirty Years War, and the St. Martini parish church. This is a great place to start a tour of the city.
