The Jugendstil Museum is located inside the grand Villa Stuck on Prinzregentenstraβe. This magnificent house was built in 1898 for Franz von Stuck – regarded as the last Painter Prince to come from Munich. His work combined new artistic trends of Jugendstil symbolism with salon taste, commonly known as German Art Nouveau. Inside the building is full of 20th century décor and furniture, as well as Stuck’s many paintings and works.
