The Heinz Nixdorf Museumsforum is a new museum in Paderborn dedicated to the computer pioneer who died in 1986, leaving the idea behind for the museum. This is the largest computer and information technology museum in the world, covering the subject from ancient times to the present day’s advances. It features equipment, networking, globalisation and communication technology, and often houses temporary exhibits and events related to the subject matter. As well as the museum, there is a forum for discussions, lectures, workshops and conferences relating to information society.
