The Diocesan Museum, or Erzbischöflisches Diözesanmuseum, in Paderborn is situated in a striking glass building alongside the Market Square in the centre of the city. This museum is dedicated to the religious artefacts of the city and its churches. Some of the more important pieces on display are two reliquary cabinets from the Dom and Adinghof churches, dating to 1100, plus a shrine to St. Liborius – Paderborn’s patron saint. A wooden statue entitled Imad Madonna from the 11th century takes pride of place on the upper floor. The museum has a small cover price.
