The Classic Art Collections Staatliche Antikensammlungen is located on the south side of the grass-covered Königsplatz square. It is housed in an elevated building dating from 1848, fronted with greek-inspired columns. Inside you will find collections of Greek vases and urns and Etruscan gold and silver formed by James Loeb. The gallery has been open since 1919.
