The Mittelrhein Museum in Koblenz is located on the historic Florinsmark square, in an old department store and the neighbouring house. The museum exhibits the history of Koblenz and the immediate central Rhine region. On display are items dating back to the earliest times of the city, with archaeological remains, and an excellent collection of local art works from the medieval period. Most feature Koblenz, or are by local artists, emphasising Rhine romance and landscapes. Ideal for getting to know this historic part of Germany.
