The Sculpture Museum in Landshut opened in 1998. It is located at the base of the hill upon which the famous Burg, or Castle stands. The museum covers all aspects of sculpture, from plastics and graphic works, to more traditional stone sculptures. It also features works from around the world. It was initially opened to house a collection of works by important German sculptor Fritz Koenig. Other temporary exhibits pass through the museum each year. There is a small entrance fee.
