St. Paul’s church in Esslingen is the oldest Dominican church in Germany. It was built for their use in the 13th century. Following the Dominicans leaving the church, it passed through various hands, including the Swabians and the military. Today it is a Catholic church, with a large congregation. Many of the furnishings are of note. Visitors are welcome inside the church.
