The Rickmer Rickmers is a museum ship moored by the Landungsbrücken floating pontoons, where river boat cruises depart from. The ship is painted a distinctive green. It was built in 1896 as a three-masted barque which enjoyed a fine career sailing to many international destinations. It was impounded in 1916, however. Today visitors can come aboard for a small entrance fee and explore the interior. Learn all about sailing on the seas carrying cargo at the turn of the 20th century. The ship is open year-round.
