The Minster Treasure Chamber, or Schatzkammer, is housed in part of the Minster Cathedral in Essen. It is a collection of priceless treasures and religious artefacts that are well worth seeing. On display are a gospel book cover with carved ivory scenes, the childhood crown of Otto III, four processional crosses from the 10th and 11th centuries, and many more gilded and precious items. The collection is located in rooms on the south side the minster church and has a small entrance fee.
