Hann. Münden’s Rathaus, or Town Hall, was built in the 14th century. It is one of the few important stone buildings in town. You can find it on the Market Square in the centre of the old town. Part of the building was rebuilt in the 17th century in the Weser Renaissance style, adding a wonderful façade with its gables, oriel windows and portal. The main hall inside is open during weekdays to visitors with no entrance fee.
