Hannover’s Börse, or Stock Exchange, is situated on Rathenaustrasse in the city centre. It was opened in 1785, however the current building dates from 1901. It is built in a mock Tudor style. The exchange close during the war periods, but today is open and an important part of the region’s economy. The building is not generally open to the public.
