Blankenese is a lovely little village forming part of Hamburg’s southern suburbs. It is a former fishing village perched on a hill alongside the waterway. You will find many narrow streets and alleys, and plenty of old houses nestled together. Along the waterfront there is a perfect beach, with cafes and restaurants catering for refreshments in good weather. In the village you will find a park full of wild deer and other animals which is open to visitors.
