The Ballhof is one of Hannover’s finest half-timbered buildings. It is located near the History Museum. The building was formerly a sports hall, built from 1649 to 1665. The games of battledore and shuttlecock were popular at the time. Today it serves as a popular theatre in the city. The play schedule is always packed full.
