The Anzeigerhochhaus is a wonderful building in central Hannover. It was built in the 1920s by Fritz Höger, the same architect as that of the Chilehaus in Hamburg, as en example of Expressionist architecture. The building was also one of the first tall structures in Germany. It is used as a newspaper’s offices. On top is a dome, which now houses a cinema showing art house film. It was originally a planetarium.
