Bad Neuenahr Ahrweiler’s Town Museum (Museum der Stadt) is the place to go to discover more about the popular spa town. It is located in the White Tower – a 13th century building. Since 1907 it has displayed exhibits on the history of the town and the Ahr valley. There is a wonderful collection of 12th to 19th century sculptures, and a display on local winemaking techniques and equipment. Various temporary exhibitions are held each year – usually on the top floor of the tower. There is an entrance fee to the museum, which is open most days between March and December.
