The main sight in the small spa town of Bad Zwischenau is the Gothic church of St. Johannis (Johanniskirche). This building is nearly 900 years old one of the oldest buildings in the county. It is situated along the sea shore. Inside, the church features frescoes from 1512, as well as a carved altar and ornate pulpit. The church is still in use, however it welcomes visitors to come and look around. Guided tours are on offer.
