The Church of St. Jakob in Burghausen is a three naved basilica. It is the parish church of the town. The church was built between 1353 and 1513 in various stages and is the main place of worship in Burghausen. Inside the church and in its grounds are the graves of many important former citizens of the town. The church welcomes visitors.
