Berlin’s Philharmonic Hall is located on the Kulturforum. Its unique tent-like shape and gold colour is the work of the architect Hans Scharoun – his first major piece of expressionish free-form. The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra are based here and hold regular concerts, as do other musicians, orchestras and operas passing through the city. The website and tourist information offices around Berlin will give up-to-date listings and ticket information. Guided tours of the building can also be attended daily by meeting at the Artists entrance at 1pm.
