The Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Decorative Arts) is located on Berlin’s Kulturforum. It was opened in 1985 to display one of the most important collections of skilled arts and crafts in Germany. Articles on display range from all periods of history and all styles, including costumes, tapestries, furniture, glass vessels, enamel and porcelain and works in silver and gold. There are also many treasures from medieval churches on display, including the famous Guelph Treasure demonstrating amazing goldsmith skills. The museum covers 7,000 square meters.
