Located within the 15th century St. Nikolaus Hospital Museum complex in Bernkastel Kues is the Mosel Wine Museum (Weinmuseum). This exhibition explains the history of wine production in the Mosel Valley, and has collections and displays of wine presses, vessels and other instruments and objects relating to wine making. The shop on the premises has various local wines to taste and buy. It is quite an attraction amongst wine connoisseurs. There is a small entrance fee to the museum.
