The Markgräfliches Opera House in Bayreuth is considered to be one of the best in Europe. It was built by Joseph Sain-Pierre between 1744 and 1748. Inside, the Baroque interior and furnishings are instantly impressive. It was designed by a family of Italian theatre architects, and mainly consists of wooden décor with intricate lighting and artworks decorating the ceiling.
